Pope says tests support saga of St. Paul’s bones

Tradition holds that the Apostle Paul's remains are buried at the Basilica of St. Paul's Outside the Walls in Rome. Pope Benedict XVI said carbon dating suggests that bone fragments found in a sarcophagus there "are the mortal remains of the Apostle Paul."Pope Benedict says the first-ever scientific tests on what are believed to be the remains of the Apostle Paul "seem to conclude" that they do indeed belong to the Roman Catholic saint.
